Oct 4, 2018 . Day 2 on Cape
up early to get to coast for sunrise... too cloudy,
saw Nauset Light and Highland Light,
then to Province Lands Visitor Center & Race Point Beach b4

Oct 3, 2018 - boondocking at Cape
Drove to cape on way to PTown for a Winnebago rally for Class B's, stopped Sagamore, Canal, Chatham, & boondocked the night at a Park & Ride

9/21-23/18 Adirondack Balloon Festival
Spent the days in a field just north of
Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in Queensbury NY
to watch 2018 Adirondack Balloon Festival ...
Fri eve & Sat AM was too windy for balloons to fly,
but Sat eve & Sun morning were great flights of 80-100 balloons.
The field was hosted by Northeast Hot Air RV'ers . [$45 membership]
no hookups & generators need to have vent pipe above rigs due to close parking
If you want to park together with friends, register same area & meet prior & go in together.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ GATES OPEN AT 2PM FRI [ no early entrees] ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
and you pull vehicle had to be parked outside of field area if you were to use it
: : : : NO VEHICLE MOVEMENT ALLOWED IN FIELD AFTER FRI SUNSET til Sunday : : :
plus had option for pre-pay meals, they had Fri eve pizza, & Sat eve chix dinner
on-site Ice Cream available in day & eves.. Great time, will do again.. and bring friends too
also had 2 bus shuttles down to airport for balloons, food & crafts
Can never predict the weather, glad i got to see them fly''
I drove central MA to event & home.. drove 350mi, at 16mpg, cost $70 fuel, +$45 membership
Ate all my own meals in Kampah. Met others from MA, CT, SC, NY

9/3 Happy Labor Day
Labor Day, a weekend of family events.. still trying to organize rig for life on the road. Defrosted fridge after 4 mo running 24/7... got a ceramic coating on MyKampah, also still ordering stuff.
Heading to east coast for a day or 2 this week, time to get oil change & maybe back-up lights..
plus a few health appts so i'll be good til next year..
Rethinking my date to head west.. was going after balloonfest in NY, but think i may get to AZ too soon, so may wonder around New England til Columbus day, & get to AZ by Nov.
