Though the eye hit big bend/ Tallahassee area at 135 mph.
Most of western Florida coast was devastated by winds & tide swells up to 15 feet..
Campground I hoped to stay at was under water along with most of coast.
Stayed 4 nites at Tampa South RV resort
Tues I went to visit Sis Sue. Then home
I stayed east coast FL in Cocoa
Then after storm passed I went to West side of FL to Ruskin.. damage amazing.
Water & sand pushed up on shore in roads & houses..
My house is fine.. checked by park manager.
Heading home next week
visit cut short.. Port closing due to gulf hurricane, so everyone in campground had to leave.
Now at JOY RV in Cocoa FL waiting out storm to pass.
Then off to Gulf side
